i know this is lazy blogging, but seriously, if all americans are like this, the country's doomed...

This is funny. But what does rankle is how so often, those that broadly accuse religion of being black and white often force them to make a Yes/No stand. "Do you believe in...or..."?!
It often isn't so clear cut, and I wish the accusers would first, themselves, recognize that fact and reflect that sensitivity in their questioning.

And what's up with this "comment moderation" and approval by blog author? No more unhampered speech?

i just wanted to highlight that fundemental thinking can cloud judgement. nevertheless, i agree with you (and tim who first pointed this out), that i should not lump issues wholesale together.
